Delhi Capitals (DC) will face Mumbai Indians (MI) in the 29th match of the Indian Premier League 2025 (IPL 2025) at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on April 13.

DC, ruling the points table, are in top form, while MI are scraping by near the bottom, hungry for a comeback.

Under Axar Patel’s captaincy, DC have been flawless, winning all four games. They are coming off a six-wicket win over Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB). KL Rahul’s blazing 93 off 53 balls against RCB stole the show. While their bowlers were hammered all over the park in the first half of the powerplay, it took a spirited effort from them for DC to make a comeback and restrict Bengaluru to 163 runs.

MI, however, are stumbling, with just one win from five games. Their recent 12-run defeat to RCB exposed cracks in their bowling as well as batting unit. Rohit Sharma’s bat remains quiet, and their bowlers, like Trent Boult, bled runs. 

Yet, Hardik Pandya’s all-round fire and Jasprit Bumrah’s return from injury are big boosts for them. With talents waiting to erupt, MI could turn the tide.
