England and the West Indies will bump heads in the third and final ODI of the three-match series at the Kennington Oval in London on June 3.
England have taken an unassailable 2-0 lead. They will enter the final game with the series already in the bag. In the series-opener, The Three Lions amassed a mammoth 400 runs batting first and cruised to a 238-run win. In the second match, they chased down 309 with three wickets in hand and sealed the series with one match to spare.
The second fixture featured remarkable performance from Joe Root, who anchored the chase with a magnificent unbeaten 166-run knock. Not only did his innings guide England out of trouble from 133/5, it also saw him leapfrog into top spot on England’s all-time list of ODI run-scorers

England would now aim for a 3-0 scoreline, which would be the ideal way to begin a new era under Harry Brook’s leadership.
For Shai Hope and his West Indies side, the final ODI is about pride. They did well with the bat in the last game, where Keacy Carty’s century powered them to 308. But once again, they fell short of delivering a well-rounded team performance. Their bowling, in particular, has struggled to apply consistent pressure.
A win in the final ODI would take some pressure off the visiting side and will also infuse some confidence into the team.
