Harsh Dubey’s best IPL spell of 3/34, which included wickets of Andre Russell, Rinku Singh, and Ramandeep Singh, all big hitters helped SRH finish their season on a high note.
Dubey played in the last three matches for SRH during phase two of IPL 2025, claiming 5 wickets across those games. He was seen as a lucky charm, helping SRH win three back-to-back matches in the business end of the season.
SRH’s Promising All-Rounder in the Making
The 22-year-old left-arm spinner joined the team mid-season as a replacement player and has already made a strong impression with the coaching staffs and team management. Dubey was also the highest wicket-taker in the Ranji Trophy 2025 season, with 69 wickets in 10 matches. Speaking highly of the youngster, Daniel Vettori expressed his satisfaction
“We’re very pleased with what he’s done since joining the team. He’s obviously a very clever bowler—he understands conditions well, knows how he needs to bowl, and can mix things up effectively. We were really looking for that bit of control, and he’s provided it in all three games he’s played so far,” said Vettori during the post-match press conference.

Looking ahead to next season, Vettori revealed that Dubey will get chances to develop as a complete all-rounder, with opportunities to improve both with bat and ball.
“There will be plenty of opportunities for him, and we believe he can continue to grow—not just as a bowler, but also as a batter, which was an important part of our decision-making as well,” he added.
