Royal Challengers Bengaluru coach Andy Flower expressed his satisfaction and happiness for Gujarat Titans bowler Mohammed Siraj following his match-winning performance.
Mohammed Siraj had an outstanding match against his former team, Royal Challengers Bengaluru, in Bengaluru. He finished with impressive figures of 3/19 in 4 overs, earning him the Player of the Match award.

Siraj's spell was crucial in restricting RCB to an under-par total of 169 runs. He started well in the powerplay, taking two important wickets—first dismissing Phil Salt with his fastest delivery of the night at 144 km/h, followed by the dismissal of Devdutt Padikkal.
He returned in the death overs to dismiss a well-settled Liam Livingstone, which further limited RCB's scoring. Gujarat Titans chased down the target more quickly than expected, winning the match by 8 wickets.
During the post-match presentation, when Andy Flower was asked about Mohammed Siraj’s performance, he expressed his happiness and stated that the team holds him in high regard.
"We all rate Siraj very highly, and we love him. I wish him all the success in the world," he said.
When questioned about missing out on acquiring Mohammed Siraj during the auction, Flower responded that the team is satisfied with their squad.
"I think we had a good auction. We are happy with the squad that we have got," he said.
He also highlighted the aggressive intent displayed during the powerplay, which resulted in RCB losing four wickets by the end of the first six overs.
"We played aggressively in the powerplay and lost four wickets. So, that was obviously a big swing in the game. Often, if you lose wickets in the powerplay, you are in trouble," he explained.

He added that the primary difference in the match was indeed the powerplay, which ultimately led to RCB losing their first match of the season.
