There might be some good news for Punjab Kings ahead of the IPL 2025 playoffs. Yuzvendra Chahal, who missed games against Delhi Capitals (DC) and Mumbai Indians (MI), is likely to be fit for the playoffs.
Chahal is a key component of Punjab's bowling attack. He has now missed two games with reports of him having a wrist injury. This was reported by ESPN Cricinfo the moment he was ruled out of the match against MI.
Yuzvendra Chahal missed the match against Delhi Capitals as well with the Kings giving Harpreet Brar a chance. Meanwhile, PBKS spin bowling coach ahead of the match against MI confirmed that he missed the maytch due to a niggle.
"Chahal has a small niggle, so we are just resting him. That's the idea,"Â Sunil Joshi said.

Major Update On Yuzvendra Chahal's Injury
Meanwhile, PTI journalist Bharat Sharma has now reported that the leggie is expected to be available for the playoffs. He further confirmed that Yuzi is recovering well from a supposed finger injury.
"Lead Punjab Kings spinner Yuzvendra Chahal is recovering from a finger injury. Unlikely to play against Mumbai Indians tonight but will be available for IPL play-offs" the journalist posted.
Meanwhile, PBKS lost their previous match against Delhi Capitals and needs to win this match against Mumbai Indians to finish in the top two. The winner of the PBKS vs MI match in Jaipur will guarantee themselves a spot in the top two. Brar has been given another game against MI after his good performance against DC.

"We are going to bowl first. I let the action talk more than words. I would just give them some sort of motivation and it is then their job to go and execute. Jamieson and Vyshak come in. It (the venue) is preferably suitable for both sides because of the conditions; wind factor and size of the ground. No you can't just take it as just another day, you have to keep upgrading your game and mindset, I am someone who thrives under pressure, you have to put your best foot forward and at the same time there is no scope for errors" said Shreyas Iyer at the toss against MI.
