In a heartwarming display of camaraderie, Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) captain Rishabh Pant and team owner Sanjiv Goenka were spotted together at the Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan (VYBK) Stadium on Monday evening, cheering for Mohun Bagan Super Giant during the Indian Super League (ISL) semi-final.
The sighting comes as a refreshing counterpoint to swirling rumors of tension between the duo, fueled by viral clips of intense post-match discussions during the IPL 2025 season.
As Mohun Bagan earned a commanding 2-0 victory over Jamshedpur FC, Pant, along with Goenka, was seen cheering the team owned by the RP-Sanjeev Goenka Group from the stands. LSG head coach Justin Langer and other members of the team were also present at the stadium.

LSG’s Performance in IPL 2025
Pant, despite his lukewarm form, has kept LSG competitive. They started their season with a defeat against DC and bounced back to keep dangerous SRH quiet, winning by five wickets.
After losing to Punjab by eight wickets, LSG again turned around their campaign, claiming a 12-run win over Mumbai Indians (MI). They are currently placed sixth on the IPL 2025 points table.
Pant and Co. will be up against KKR on April 8 at the Eden Gardens. Mohun Bagan Super Giants' players have also travelled to the Eden Gardens to watch the match between KKR and LSG.
