South Africa have announced a strong squad for their upcoming white-ball tour to the West Indies. Veteran all-rounder Marizanne Kapp has been included after missing the tri-series between South Africa, India, and Sri Lanka in the 16-member squad announced. Kapp last featured for the Proteas against England in December. She was last seen in the Women's Premier League (WPL 2025) playing for Delhi Capitals (DC).
Apart from Kapp, South Africa has also added pacers Tumi Sekhukhune and Ayanda Hlubi. Both the pacers had also missed the tri-series. With the pitches in the West Indies aiding pacers more than the spinners, the CSA have named seven fast bowlers in the 16-member squad. Interestingly, top-order batter Lara Goodall and leg spinner Seshnie Naidu have been excluded from the squad after featuring in the tri-series in Sri Lanka.

Apart from the pacers, South Africa has also bolstered their spin department by picking five spinners. Nonkululeko Mlaba, off spinner Nondumiso Shangase, and veteran all-rounders Chloe Tryon and Sune Luus, and 20-year-old all-rounder Miane Smit are in the team.
South Africa to play three ODIs & three T20I against the Windies
South will play six white-ball matches against West Indies - three ODIs and three T20Is. First up the 50-over matches will be played starting from June 11, 14, & 17. The T20Is will be played from June 20, 22, & 23.
