Chennai Super Kings (CSK) are set to cross swords with Delhi Capitals (DC) in match 17 of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 season on Saturday, April 05, at MA Chidambarm Stadium in Chepauk. CSK are coming off twin losses against RCB and RR, while DC are yet to lose a game in the two matches that they have played against LSG and SRH. A win for DC in Chepauk will propel them to a first place in the points table.
However, DC's record in Chepauk is bit screwed as they are yet to win a game, after winning the last match here in 2010. At that time, their head coach Hemang Badani was a player with CSK. Will it be a happy homecoming for Badani, only time will tell. However, DC can take a leaf out of RCB's book on how to go about the business in Chepauk, as they recently beat CSK here by 50 runs.
